Message from the President (of TRSC)

Ahhh, the smell of spring, fresh horse manure and saddle leather. What could
be any better?
I hope that this amazing weather has allowed everyone the opportunity to get
a little riding in. We’ve actually been to a few shows and I have to tell ya;
there are some real comin’-uppers that are going to surprise some people
this year. Lots of new horse faces this year and I can’t wait to see them at
the shows.
We had several new members at the March meeting and I am excited to see so
many new faces. Please join me in welcoming them into our club when you meet
them.
I’m less nervous and more excited about this year as we are fortunate to
have so many good people working towards the same goal:
Have Fun..Make Friends…Enjoy our Horses
The one thing that I will take with me forever is the family atmosphere that
our club promotes. Whether it’s a fun show, a WSCA Show, Jackpots, State
Shows etc..the Trail Riders Saddle Club members are always looked upon in
favorable light and we come out in droves to support each other. I am very
proud of how our club is represented and even prouder to be a part of an
organization that holds sportsmanship and horsemanship at a high level.

A few updates from the last meeting;
Fun Shows: Format = Pleasure then Games ALL
SHOWS
Each Show will include (1) Fun Event between Pleasure & Games
Apparel Program = Will have order info at April Meeting
Clinics for members by members – In the works
Volunteer Hour Guidelines remain in place
Open Shows will use Jack’s Food Shack
New Sponsorship Committee-See Dani W and Martha N to help
